Summer at Junibacken is like stepping straight into the pages of a storybook—or rather, several of them. Here, beloved tales come alive through theatre, interactive exhibitions and magical play, inviting children and grown-ups to explore, imagine and create lasting memories together.
What happens when a young troll wins a drawing competition and her family does everything they can to blend in with the humans in town? Here Be Trolls is Junibacken’s brand-new summer production, performed on the Garden Stage three times every weekday throughout the summer. No theatre reservation is required for this performance.
Join Tommy and Annika as they meet Pippi Longstocking for the very first time in one of Junibacken’s most beloved theatre performances.
Pippi Moves In is performed by Junibacken’s children’s ensemble beside Villa Villekulla. A valid admission ticket and a separate theatre reservation are required, as seating is limited.
Discover Sweden’s largest Moomin playground, where children can slide down from the six-metre-high Moomin House, explore the giant seashell, set off on underwater adventures with the Hattifatteners, walk on stilts with Snufkin and meet Moominmamma and Moominpappa.
