Useful information when booking
Junibacken does not run guided tours.
There may be queues at Junibacken in high season from May to September and in school holidays. Pre-booked groups will also have to queue.
When you make a group booking, you will be given a time for our Story Train. This is the time you will be admitted to the Story Train station (you may have to queue).
Your trip on the Story Train takes about 15 minutes and the train departs all day long. During the trip you will hear stories from Astrid Lindgren’s famous books. You can choose the language in each carriage and there are 16 different languages to choose from. Each carriage seats 1–4 people. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
Unfortunately, Junibacken doesn’t have any space where you can eat a packed lunch, but you are very welcome to visit our restaurant where you can buy lunch, cakes and snacks. Have a look at the restaurant menu here. There’s no need to book a table. Just sit down wherever you like.
Personal assistants or accompanying carers are admitted free of charge.
Junibacken accepts payments using the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners, as well as cash.
Companies can also pay by invoice.
