Welcome to Junibacken

Opening hours 2020

Junibacken is open nearly every day of the year between 10.00 and 17.00. In the summer we are open a little longer and don’t close until 18.00. Around Christmas and certain holiday weekends we sometimes close for a day or so.

1st January – 28th June: 10:00 – 17:00
29th June – 16th August: 10:00 – 18:00 *extended summer hours
17th August – 31st December: 10:00 – 17:00

Closed:
January: 13th, 20th and 27th.
February: 3rd and 10th.
March: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.
September: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th.
November: 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th.
December: 24th and 25th

The restaurant is open between 10.00 and 16.30 and serves lunch between 11.00 and 14.30. The Storybook Train gets going when the building opens for the day and runs until 16.45.

The admission fee includes entry to Junibacken, all theatre performances of the day as well as a ride on the Story Train.

From June 1st 2017 we do not accept payment in euros.
