Junibacken in Stockholm

Welcome to Junibacken in Stockholm this autumn break! Here you’ll find daily theater performances, Astrid Lindgren’s magical Story Train, and playful exhibitions both indoors and outdoors.

Magical and Just Spooky Enough

During Reading Break, Junibacken will be filled with activities inspired by Jonna Björnstjerna’s beloved books The Wonderful Rabbit Family, in collaboration with Bonnier Carlsen. On November 1st, we’ll be joined by Jonna Björnstjerna herself for a workshop and live reading – don’t miss it!

Magical, fun, and just-spooky-enough activities await the whole family – the perfect way to spend the autumn break!

Pippi flyttar in på Junibacken

Pippi moves in

Pippi moves in is performed by a children’s ensemble at Villa Villekulla, where we get to experience Tommy and Annika’s very first meeting with Pippi Longstocking.
Please note: a theater ticket is required for the performance as seating is limited, along with a valid admission ticket or annual pass.

Skinn Skerping

The performance “Skinn Skerping – the Scariest Ghost in Småland” is a spooky play for children from the age of five, based on Astrid Lindgren’s short story of the same name. It will be performed on weekdays this autumn.
