Junibacken is open nearly every day of the year between 10.00 and 17.00. In the summer we are open a little longer and don’t close until 18.00. Around Christmas and certain holiday weekends we sometimes close for a day or so.
The restaurant is open between 10.00 and 17.30 and serves lunch between 11.00 and 15.00. You can order meatballs and pancakes right up to when the kitchen closes!
The Storybook Train gets going when the building opens for the day and runs until 17.45.

Annual membership for pensioners
If you are a pensioner and you would like to take your grandchildren to Junibacken, you can get the nifty annual pass for pensioners. With it, you as a pensioner and one child can enter for free for an entire year for SEK 499. If you would like to take two children instead, that costs SEK 599, and for SEK 699, you and three children can enter with the pass. It is personal for you, but not for the children. This way, your grandchildren can take turns coming along! The pass is valid upon presentation of a certificate of seniority.
(A lost year-round pass can be replaced for a fee of SEK 40 provided that you registered it.)
For the whole lot of you!
