For families looking for activities during the Easter break, there’s a place where stories come to life and imagination can run free. At Junibacken you can ride the Story Train through the worlds of Astrid Lindgren, step into Villa Villekulla and play, enjoy the spring sunshine in Moomins’ play valley, and create Easter-themed creations with PlusPlus in the Pavilion.

Activities for the whole family

During Easter, the Pavilion will be open for children of all ages to build Easter-themed creations with PlusPlus BIG! You’ll find a giant egg cup filled with PlusPlus pieces where, using templates or your own imagination, you can create all sorts of things associated with Easter. PlusPlus BIG is recommended from age 1, so this activity is perfect even for the youngest ones.

(Please note: On April 3rd the Pavilion will close at 14:00 due to other activities.)

As usual, lively theatre performances take place every day, and during week 15 the play Pippi Moves In will also be performed daily outside Villa Villekulla. Our play exhibitions are open and ready for fun and games, and Moomins’ play valley welcomes children to enjoy some spring sunshine and burn off some energy.

Pippi moves in

Pippi Moves In is performed every day during Week 15 at Villa Villekulla. Come and experience when Tommy and Annika meet Pippi for the first time in a wonderful and exciting theatre performance performed by our amazing young actors.

Explore classics and new favorites, including titles in multiple languages, and be inspired in our cozy reading corner. No entrance ticket is required to visit the bookstore.
